1. Are cakes, cupcakes and love jars always readily available?
We only bake on orders. So for both designer and gourmet cakes, cupcakes and love jars It is essential to give us a notice so that your end product is homemade fresh, yum and to the brief!
2. How much notice period is required for both designer and gourmet cakes?
For gourmet cakes, a 24-hour notice period is sufficient. For designer cakes, a 4-5 day period is required. Since we are a small team of only 2-3 people, we often get booked up fast. So the earlier you come to us, the better it is.
3. What is the starting cost and size requirement of designer cakes?
Designer cakes can start from half kg onwards but do note that very limited designs are available in that size. For a good designer product your size requirement should be atleast of a kg.
Our designer fondant cakes start from 2200 a kg.
4. What flavours can I choose for my designer cakes, cupcakes and jars?
Any flavour (eggless also) can be chosen for your designer cake. However in some cases where the design is too heavy in terms of weight, a dense cake like chocolate is the only choice.
5. If I place an order in the morning, will it be ready by the evening.
In the case of some designs and on some working days when the workload is lighter, we can take on orders in the morning (by 11am) and have it ready in the evening (latest by 7pm)
6. Do you deliver these goodies?
We do deliver in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida for additional charges depending on where you're based.
In case of smaller orders of cakes, cupcakes and jars we make use of the well-connected public transport. But in the case of more elaborate and more delicate cakes, we use our transportation in which case the delivery charge will be higher.
7. What are the various sizes available of the products on offer?
For cakes: sizes start from a half kg. For bulk orders for weddings, special occasions we can make special cakes in the sizes of 250-300 gms. But these are only available for bulk orders.
For cupcakes: We offer mini cupcakes and regular cupcakes
For Cake Jars: We offer 160gm and 500gm (weight is inclusive of the jar)
8. What are the different payment modes available?
At the moment, the payment is either through cash or a direct transfer into our bank accounts. For bulk orders or bigger cake orders, a mandatory deposit of 50% is essential.
9. Do you do customised packaging?
We do have a variety of simple and elaborate packaging at hand in smaller numbers. But for something more specific or specialised, please ensure that you touch base with enough time in hand (2 months) so that we can arrange according to the brief.
10. What is the best way to get in touch?
Since we only work on orders, there may be days when our number may not be reachable. In that scenario it is advisable to just leave us a mail on loveiscakes@gmail.com and we shall get back to you at the earliest.
